High-quality submerged slurry pumps are the basic guarantee for reliable operation. When buying a slurry pump, you must first pay attention to the material of the slurry pump. Generally, two materials are more common. One is a metal lining and the other is a rubber lining.
The metal lining is what we generally call the wear-resistant high-chromium alloy rubber lining, that is, natural wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant rubber; and the rubber lining is the natural wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant rubber. The lining material accounts for a large part of the cost of the slurry pump.
When purchasing a submerged slurry pump, it is very important to accurately determine the quality of the slurry pump. First of all, when starting and stopping the submerged slurry pump, pay attention to whether the installation foundation of the pump is stable, such as bolts. It is necessary to check whether the axial clearance of the pump has been adjusted, and whether the direction of the motor is selected correctly. When starting the motor, open the pressure gauge cock. When the pump is working at full revolutions, adjust the gate valve opening to the required range. When the pump stops working, stop the motor first, and then close the pressure gauge cock. If the pump stops running for a long time, the pump should be disassembled, wiped clean, coated with anti-rust oil and stored properly.
When the submerged slurry pump is running, pay attention to the bearing temperature of the pump, which should not exceed the outside temperature by 35 degrees but the highest temperature should not exceed 75 degrees. The oil cup should be filled with calcium-based butter to ensure that the bearings can be lubricated normally. In the first month of operation, or after 100 hours of operation, the grease in the motor support oil cup should be replaced with the pump, and it should be replaced after every 2000 hours of operation. Check the elastic coupling regularly and pay attention to the temperature rise of the motor bearing. If noise or unusual sound is found during the rotation, stop and check immediately. The pump should be periodically checked every 2000 hours of operation. When the pump is working for 6 hours, the mechanical seal should be checked and repaired or replaced according to the degree of wear, otherwise it will cause damage to the pump shaft and bearings.
